grass jelly, green tea, yoghurt, vitagen--all to ensure there's not much internal heat and keep the flu and fever at bay.
yet, i'm feeling heaty and lethargic besides the sudden throbs in my head. SIGHS.
and it's kind of annoying having to think twice before going for a run or swim as i might either come home burnt or soaked from head to toe due to a sudden downpour.
i just hope the weather will 'get well soon' ((:
yes, i know i sound silly
and WHINY.
it's labour day tmr.
honestly, i don't understand it's purpose, much less significance.
to show appreciation for all labourers?
isnt it ironic that there are still people working then?
and have you ever stopped to think about how unhappy we would be if there is really a day when EVERYONE is on a holiday?
NO shopping malls, NO amusement park(s), NO fast food joints, NO restaurants, NO cinemas, NO public transport, NO petrol station and many more NOs as nobody is manning them.
ohwell. what am i complaining about when most people are content with one extra day of holiday.
oh.kino at liang court has LOADS of japanese books and magazines.
so do go there if you're in need of them.
aah. craving for:
COOKIES.

1 march
met up with jack at cityhall to proceed to east coast in the morning.
managed to find our way.yay!
gosh.the walk was super LONG[maybe i'm just weak haha]
after finally reaching the biathlon area,met nicholas.
watched the biathlon while waiting for nicholas in the rain before lunching tgt with him at gelare.
headed different directions after that.

oh.went to the airport with him to walk about.

nice but predictable storyline.
haha and L's diet only made me crave for sweets(chocs, pastries, candies..you name it) ALOT((:
and i thank my sis for making me stay till end of credits 'cos i got to watch the closure of their show(she's making me do this too haha)

oh. we visited underwater world and dolphin lagoon;
been eons since my last visit so i guess i was like a child(or tourist) 'wow-ing' at everything lol.

omg. i was super shocked to see the huge mass of people going to sentosa today.
and i'm not talking of one area of admission but ALL.
everywhere you go, do expect to wait for at least half an hour i think.
but i guess everyone should have anticipated this with the cny holidays and events on going.
everyone was hard at work, trying to ensure everything goes on smoothly
and i'm glad to be part of it(:
9 feb
wow. the crowd was even bigger than yesterday's.
there wasnt time to sit or even take a sip of water.
all you can do is think,count and be alert.
i have to be more careful next time.
but all in all, it was a good experience(:
10 feb
met up with trackists at sentosa express.
headed to imbiah lookout for the flower festival(:
there were so many flowers, 'statues' and of course people haha
after spending about 2 hours there, we headed to siloso beach to catch the sun's rays and catch up with each other.
met up with nic and jenn at secret recipe vivo for lunch.
passed to nic and lastrina a box of chocs and cards for their belated birthdays(:
hope they liked them.
jack, abby, jenn and i accompanied nic to make his army specs at suntec while the others left

it's more like a musical but it was a good movie(:

but i really am curious to see the end product look with all the different types/colours/shapes/patterns of flowers going in these past few days(:

been raining these few days.
it's not all bad cos sometimes it feels calming to have droplets of rain peltering down.
lets see, 1st feb was my day off.
went to swim, then had lunch at imm with him.
but not exactly lunch cos we just walked about haha.
felt feverish so i decided to go home instead of going about to look for stuff.
2nd feb,did the counter job(for pple who wants to take the bus) which was bad.
took a stroll up, down and at mount faber.
it was nice to think and just take in the scenic view of the surroundings.
3rd feb, did booth job;i finished reading the entire readers digest as in seriously EVERY page of the magazine lol.
went to watch songs of the sea with him;it's really worth the money with all the effects.
4th feb. supposed to have dinner with shurong, xinyun and abigail but couldnt cos i had afternoon shift.
but, being the very nice people which (of course) they are, they dropped by to pay me a visit haha.
it was nice chatting with them though it was short. miss you guys loads(:
cny is coming very soon and there's so many flowers/plants going in!
wonder how it'll look like when everything has been set up!(:

to smile and keep your composure after you have just been barked at by a rude person is not as easy as it sounds.
true, one can paste a smile but your entire mood will be off.
ohwell. i learnt to laugh it all off.
cos amazingly after bitter encounters like those, there's bound to be sweet people who'll make your day all better.
seriously, i think the growing up process is a weird thing cos SOME people forget to be and think like a human along the way.
pity.

haix. i'm going to clam up and be more ASSertive.
i thought the word "NO" was universally understood but it was proven otherwise.
and after much 'debate'and thinking that it was for the best, i decided to give in since he was so sure of himself and he countlessly repeated that he has solid proof.
but NO...instead he gave a remark which basically meant that if anything goes wrong, i am the one to be held solely accountable for it.
bleh, despise this nature of some people;full of themselves and always putting the blame on others instead of themselves.
i'm through with being mad;shall just forget about it.

been tired these few days;as expected, soon fever will kick in
hopefully by downing more water and juices, i can shoo the bug away.
anws, went for the science preview at psb academy which was enlightening.
kind of got me thinking..do i really know what i want to do in future?
ohkay, time to watch bambino!haha
i think i'm a beach-addict; 3 days of no beach and i'm missing the scent, scenery and sounds of it haha.

hmm this week, was mostly posted to the group arrival centre.
so it wasnt so hectic, just have to deal with [difficult for some] people.
except for saturday 'cos there'll be times when a HUGE number of people decides to come at ONE go and everyone wants to get on the shuttle bus asap.
S-O-A-H-C!haha
oh. and there are caring guests who asked if i was ohkay when i looked off-colour on one of the days, down with the sniffles;made my day alot(:
anyways, i realise that i like to do work;which is ironic since i [thought]like to slack lol.
off topic. been goin to the beach alot to...think and just take in the serene atmosphere.
i think i should use the time to also jog haha.

took like 15 mins to realise that ficus point was behind the office lol.
anws, the training was basically to equip us with information about the management, and the expectations the management have as well as those of guests(generally) of us.
it was a light hearted and fun session, made new friends(:
seems like i'll have new colleagues in weeks to come(:
time to go figure out driving directions to those commonly visited places using the map;dont want to keep asking the same questions.
