ohwell. what am i complaining about when most people are content with one extra day of holiday.

omg. i was super shocked to see the huge mass of people going to sentosa today.
and i'm not talking of one area of admission but ALL.
everywhere you go, do expect to wait for at least half an hour i think.
but i guess everyone should have anticipated this with the cny holidays and events on going.
everyone was hard at work, trying to ensure everything goes on smoothly
and i'm glad to be part of it(:

wow. the crowd was even bigger than yesterday's.
there wasnt time to sit or even take a sip of water.
all you can do is think,count and be alert.
i have to be more careful next time.
but all in all, it was a good experience(:

met up with trackists at sentosa express.
headed to imbiah lookout for the flower festival(:
there were so many flowers, 'statues' and of course people haha
after spending about 2 hours there, we headed to siloso beach to catch the sun's rays and catch up with each other.
met up with nic and jenn at secret recipe vivo for lunch.
passed to nic and lastrina a box of chocs and cards for their belated birthdays(:
hope they liked them.
jack, abby, jenn and i accompanied nic to make his army specs at suntec while the others left

been raining these few days.
it's not all bad cos sometimes it feels calming to have droplets of rain peltering down.
lets see, 1st feb was my day off.
went to swim, then had lunch at imm with him.
but not exactly lunch cos we just walked about haha.
felt feverish so i decided to go home instead of going about to look for stuff.
2nd feb,did the counter job(for pple who wants to take the bus) which was bad.
took a stroll up, down and at mount faber.
it was nice to think and just take in the scenic view of the surroundings.
3rd feb, did booth job;i finished reading the entire readers digest as in seriously EVERY page of the magazine lol.
went to watch songs of the sea with him;it's really worth the money with all the effects.
4th feb. supposed to have dinner with shurong, xinyun and abigail but couldnt cos i had afternoon shift.
but, being the very nice people which (of course) they are, they dropped by to pay me a visit haha.
it was nice chatting with them though it was short. miss you guys loads(:
cny is coming very soon and there's so many flowers/plants going in!

hmm this week, was mostly posted to the group arrival centre.

anws, the training was basically to equip us with information about the management, and the expectations the management have as well as those of guests(generally) of us.
it was a light hearted and fun session, made new friends(:

anws, ushered in the new year differently cos i was at siloso beach, busy tagging people going to siloso beach party.
couldnt see any fireworks or celebration but being around new friendly colleagues made up for it(:
thank you to all who well wished me and apologies if i didnt reply cos it was really a hectic night at certain times.
smile, greet with enthusiasm, promote and tag may not be as easy as it sounds like but it was a wonderful experience nonetheless(:
siloso beach has never looked more vibrant to me than that night with all the party goers partying hard[which left a considerable number of people feeling sick, if you know what i mean haha]

woke up late. yikes!

went down to biopolis to help out in preparation for stroke talk.
the office area looked like some hotel and the security was super tight.
the fire drill..was kind of a flop i think.
imagine taking 30 mins i guess to evacuate the entire building and people can come down with COFFEE in hand and UMBRELLAS?!? lol
and like 85% of them were hiding from mr sun at the assembly area.hilarious!
anyways, lunched with a parttime colleague and rotted at the koi pond before we went back to work.
oh. we realised that one can prolly live there cos it's pretty self sufficient with a laundrymat, convenience store, mani-pedicure place,massage parlour.lol
hmm i think it is neat to have one carpark for the entire biopolis..it's much more accesible that way cos everything is linked.
hmm the security thing in the area can be annoying though; we got stuck while transporting stuff from one building to another just cause the card we have only works for one particular building.
ohwells. at least i get to see the ORANGE auditorium again haha.

serene and magnificent..all i could hear was the gentle crashing of waves(:

played monkey while waiting for nicholas and guo xiong.
lunched before we bade goodbye to kun jie and martin.
played in the COLD water before we washed up and headed to vivo.
since we couldnt find anything to do in vivo, headed to town to awe at the christmas lightings.

it was a nice movie though there's 2 more to go.

firstly,HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my sister!!

anws, met up with nicholas for macs breakfast before we rotted there.
we were so bored that we almost slept;well he actually did lol.
met up with shurong, huan shern, xinyun and aiting at the bus stop near biopolis and off we went to the matrix building!
carried stuff up and helped out with the preparations.
around 5pm, there was an outburst of noise from outside the auditorium which could only mean that the little kids has arrived(:
they were so adorable but it came with a price: their mischief (not that i'm any less mischievous than them LOL)
soon, we had to leave them to carry out our assigned tasks.
the concert was short but sweet as there was pure innocence in it and they really looked like they were playing and having fun instead of performing(:
the part where we had to dress the k2 kids in the graduation gown was chaotic cos they were moving about and we had so little time.
some of them had their gowns too short while others drown in them.
ohwell, they still looked great with their confidence and all.
helped to clear up after the event.
overall, i'm glad to be part of the event;
it reminded me of my childhood days and how much i miss the sheer innocence of everyone(what i believed at that time)(:

prom recap.
met up with shurong at bukit merah interchange before proceeding to xinyun's place.
did make up at some shop and lets just say we'll do our own makeup next time lol.
made our way to amara hotel in time thanks to xinyun's mum(:
the atmosphere was kind of different from the crescent prom..or maybe it was me? shrugs.
everyone looked different; in a gorgeous/handsome way.
i kind of felt underdressed cos everyone looked glam haha
of course the nominated prom kings and queens looked even more fabulous(:
hafizah and fantastic four performed and they put on a wonderful show(:
congrats to the prom king and queen and lucky draw winners
lots of pictures, lots of smiles(:
cabbed down to zouk thanks to jerome who booked them.
it was a tuesday night so it was like a ghost town haha
after hanging out there for a while, bade goodbye to alex, huan shern and jack while jerome, juncheng, nic, shurong, xinyun and i left to some place at river valley for LATE supper haha.
after filling our stomachs(i almost died of eating haha!), bade goodbye and headed to xinyun place with shurong for sleepover!
i didnt know taking off the makeup was that difficult lol
actually the only problem was the mascara.

hmm i dont know whether i'm happy or sad.
took loads of thrill rides *duh* and well lets just say i'm 'running out' of voice after all the screaming lol.
the beach was simply amazing;
i could just lay there the entire day and do nothing but enjoy the view and smell the slightly salted scent while the waves crashed and the sun shining brightly and the chill wind carressing my hair(:
the food was VERY filling cos the portions were big but it was basically the same everywhere; fast food and coke.
the people were friendlier and a smile is always on their faces.
the pace of life was way more relaxing than ours; i guess they really take time to enjoy life.
kind of felt out of place at first, but the feeling faded quickly probably due to the friendliness in the air.
oh. and i think 'schoolies night' is damn cool..it's like zoukout but meant for vacation-ing school youths; so basically alot of hotels near my area was FILLED with youths partying at night and sleeping in by the day--gosh,they really know how to live life(:

went to accompany my mum to swim despite the sniffles.
felt much better after that(:
i miss swimming as pe lessons in primary school.waah.

wet day..duh.
felt restless so went for a jog.
remembered trainings where we always 'begged' mr ang for easy runs instead of time trials.
ironic since most of us were suposedly short distance runners lol.

had aces day after morning assembly.
i guess most people participated actively
though i still think that mass dance would receive a better response.
the teachers' day concert was alright
the skit was very..entertaining haha
celebrated teachers' day with cookie cake and by taking lots of pictures(:
we ended up eating the cake cos they found it too sweet haha

reluctantly came to school.
maybe it's because i anticipated [correctly] that the atmosphere would be different.
anws, had j1 leaders investiture before proceeding to LT5 for the celebration.
after the singing and watching of videos, left for the canteen for food given by the school.
guess the cotton candy caught most of the people's attention first haha
headed for home with shurong and xinyun
rested a bit before meeting up with the rest at plaza singapura for class outing.

this is what we did:-
walked about while waiting for the rest
lunched at pastamania
celebrated gabriel's and martin's birthdays in advance at swensens
walked about 'cos we didnt really know where to go
headed for national library 'cos some of them have not been there before
roamed bugis junction for a while
dined at the food court.
overall, it was an enjoyable outing where i get to see smiles and laughters from everyone(:
the latter might be the result of how a certain someone ate his ice cream.lol

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRACKISTS!!
we met each other fortuitously with our differences in nature.
but somehow the differences seems to fit,
and we magically connect;
thus beauteously piecing a divine picture

anws, chatted and rotted at the rest at clarke quay station while waiting for the rest.
afterwhich, we walked to the starting point at the carpark near zouk.
had to quickly deposit the bags and pin our number tags as we were kind of late.
the MILK charity run was fun though me, xinyun, shurong and jack ran 11.4km (an extra 3km) instead.lol!
after the run, we headed for pastamania at harbourfront for dinner and celebration
but being considerate citizens, we decided to eat the cake at the skypark instead.
played truth of dare and FOR ONCE, there REALLY was NO caking.lol!
headed to coffeebean for drinks [yay to pure blended chocolate/vanilla!] and chat before we parted home.

helped shurong with her gifts before we got chased out.
parted; leaving shurong xinyun meiqi jenn and i to eat hotdogs at IKEA before we did up the presents again at the food court at anchorpoint.
after sitting there for an hour or so, got chased out again and we took it as a sign to go home.

nicholas, gabriel and i were the first to reach harbourfront--
apparently we took the same train without knowing it at first.lol
had breakfast at macdonalds while waiting for the rest.
after everyone was accounted for, we stopped by giant at vivo to buy food and drinks before taking the sentosa express to sentosa.
supposed to place our stuff in the lockers at the beach station but we kind of got cheated 'cos the lockers were faulty; hence we could only store the food stuff.
met up with weiru at imbiah station(:
were divided into 4 groups before we were briefed on the game.
lets see if i rmb the groupings:
group 1: zixin, alex, gabriel and eugene
group 2: shu xian, nicholas and lijie
group 3: joyceline, weiling, seah, ragu
group 4: avinash, perry, martin and me!
ohk. back to the topic, my team got a headstart cos we figured the word/food game thing first.lol
had a hard time finding kunjie at underwater world (2nd station)
maybe it was because we kept thinking that he'd be at the front? shrugs.
sang the jingle of spongebob squarepants in a different tune.lol!
proceeded to the butterfly park--the bus ride was long!
found weiru and took pictures with 3 different tourists before receiving the next clue.
decided to take the monorail to beach station since it was way faster than the bus before jogging to the southernmost point of bla bla.lol!
met up with zixin's group and we had to find kunjie's lost items. lol
avinash finally found it and we headed to the beach tram to proceed to sentosa spa and resort!
wanted to walk since the tram took a while and we thought we were lagging but after walking for a few metres, the tram arrived!!
so we dashed for the next station which was actually unnecessary since the tram was INCHING its way.lol! ohwells. at least we managed to ride it to tanjong beach.
omg. the stairway to the sentosa spa and resort was SUPER LONG and it reminded me of vertical marathon. haha!
found weiru and off we went to search for room numbers to take pictures of it! lol
walked back to tanjong beach for the last station where we met sinhong with the [melting] cake!
despite everything and being overtaken so many times, we realised that we finished..FIRST!!
so CONGRATULATIONS!! lol!
called weiru and the rest to meet up at palawan for the celebration once they were done with the race(:
celebrated eugene tang's birthday-- he looked very shocked which meant that it was the first successful birthday SURPRISE.lol! yay!
the cake was nice to be eaten and to cake and be caked. lol!
zixin was damn funny 'cos she dropped the cake on my foot as we were posing for the camera! lol!
anws, MOST of pushed/thrown into the sea.
played frisbee and monkey before we cleared the place and cleaned ourselves up(:
proceeded to vivo for dinner.
since there wasnt any place that could accomodate us, we took away our dinner and ate it at the open area at vivo's pool playing area.
chatted, laughed, played until we felt tired and decided to go home.

after shurong picked my innocent and sweet-looking outfit, we headed down to tiong bahru.
intended to cab down to jalan klinik to settle the milk run stuff 'cos we were unsure of the location but we ended up walking to the place since most of the cab drivers had no clue where it was.
that was a total blessing in disguise as the place was just stones' throw from tiong bahru plaza! yay!
met up with the rest at somerset mrt before we headed for cine.
stayed back at the starbucks at specialist centre to complete the cards while the rest bought the tickets(:
since we had loads of time and our stomachs were growling, we ate at yoshi.
celebrated huan shern's birthday in advance and he got caked. LOL!
pirates of the carribean: at world's end was average but entertaining despite watching it thrice.lol
met up with jack after the movie and the guys headed to heerens' while the girls headed to try on dresses.
we ended up drinking/snacking at coffee bean at paragon though((:
dined/celebrated meiqi kaidi jennifer and huan shern's birthdays at pastamania plaza singapura before heading home(:

took the bus to vivo--overslept and i ended up at some unknown place lol!

dined at sakae; food was alright but the service needs to be improved.

watched a documentary about palestine-israel conflict for gp.

indulged at bakerzin. yummy!!
walked around before we went nuts and had the urge to try ALOT of dresses on.LOL!

proceeded to centrepoint to try on more dresses.

a day filled with vexation.
maths test was calamitous.
as a consolation, we were 'awarded' with a surprise gp tca 3 which i had a meagre number of points for EVERY single question.
and to top it all off, i cant do a single question for the maths quiz on complex number.

the wiring for my braces kind of broke early in the morning.lol
visited the dentist before school 'cos it was poking me hard.ouch.
reached school just on time for gp.
nothing much happened until we were dismissed.
everyone was so fishy.haha!
saw esther and wished her happy birthday before we hit each other 18 times.LOL!
stood around the cookie house until i saw the cake. *taking flight*
resisted but all of them pulled me to the cake and sang a birthday song.
took out the candles using my mouth.
and no thanks to nic who purposely took out one candle; leaving the base there.haha!
for the first time, each piece of my cake looked 'artistic'.LOL
to atone for my caking sins.. i was CAKED big time even after squeling like a pig and trying very hard to find ways to run off!!LOL!
credit goes to meiqi for caking and s11 peeps, shurong, abby, jenn and the rest[apologies.i cant recall due to my absent-mindedness.] for surrounding me and preventing me from running or pushing the cake away.. haha!(:

i think i screwed up my physics spa skill A.
oh wells. no use crying over spilt milk.
ended early 'cos there was no geog and chem was pushed up.
sadly, we couldnt leave as we still had pc. bleh.
wanted to play netball but couldnt thanks to the rain.
rotted at the concourse with shurong, abby, jenn and xinyun.
lol. talked crap and teased each other.
pc was just 2 rounds then free games.
netball for the s11 girls[except zixin who went for choir at victoria concert hall], gabriel, huan shern and nicholas.
LOL it was a good destress laughing session--gabriel got 'pregnant' for like one minute. ROFL
left for gp after that.
the attendance was like half of the previous sessions. sighs
played high jump with qiu kun, jenn, meiqi, juncheng, and nic.
shux. i forgot everything and couldnt even clear properly 1.35m. bleh.
